I am interestead in buying a mini moog if you have a mini moog but don’t wanna sell it please tell me how good it is

I will not sell my Minimoog.
But a Minimoog is the synth each synth collector should own. Without a Minimoog you are missing THE synth that started it all. Just look on those old LP covers of pop bands in the seventies: it was a Minimoog or a ARP Odyssey they played. The Minimoog is the synth most other synth manufactors tried to copy in some way:
- the left hanbd wheels were a Minimoog feature before others copied them
- the layout of the panel structured in the signal flow from left to right
- the bold sound
For whatever reason, there is a (n original) Minimoog drought on eBay.
If you have one you’d like to sell, contact me. Thanks!
If you’d like to reply about how much you do NOT want to sell your Minimoog, you can do that too… but that is not quite as helpful. ![]()
Nice collection of Minis, Rudy. ![]()
Looks like my house sometimes ![]()
We should share notes sometimes on Mini restorations.
I’m on my 362nd Mini now.
Yes and No. ![]()
was #2092 for left handed players?
No!
Fwiw, it is possible to swap the keyboard and mod section locations with a little surgery. I have a “lefty” here now for restoration.
I don’t think I could get used to a right-hand-side PB wheel, but I have often wished for another mod wheel on the other side.
So Kevin are you changing the badge on that “lefty” to read GOOM?
Go to google type in “Rl music” They have a mini moog up for sale looks like beautiful on too totlally restored its gonna cost you about £2200 though alternatively http://www.musiccontrol.co.uk i belive they also have one for a cheaper price..good luck finding one ![]()
Demokid, it is a nice collection of Minimoogs.
Gear lists just don’t impress me much though, sorry.
MC: in a word, “No” ![]()
RL Music does have some pricey offerings, but the instruments are good and they will stand behind the sale and unit. Good if you have the money and don’t like to mess around with details and problems. They recently sold a Mini that I had restored and I certainly couldn’t have sold it for what they got, here in the states.
Customer was happy though, so that’s all that matters.
Keep in mind that when I restore a Mini, it costs roughly $500 to $1000, so these high prices for restored units have some justifications behind them.
There’s a lot of parts and hours put in to make them worth the money and the work is guaranteed by me and usually the seller too ![]()
But I can’t afford one either!! ![]()
I have my minimoog sold I believe but the guy is being a little quirky and slow…drop me a line if you’re interested and I can keep you updated on it’s status…
I’ll sell you my voyager
