Does Anyone have a backup of the original OS 1.035 Patches?

Hi All

I finally got around to installing my stage II upgrade, got OS3.1 installed, and bought the librarian.

I thought that I had backed up my patches, but I guess I didn’t do it right. I have now downloaded the newest stage II v3.1 patches where are awesome, but there are a few like Moog 00, Space Gurgles, and 4th to 5th that I liked that I’m not missing.

If anyone has a copy they can send me I would appreciate it.

I’m really hoping that there is a way to take some patches from different banks and add them to a custom bank. I want to create like 10 open spaces in the beginning of the bank that I can store stuff we use for shows all in one place, and get rid of some patches I just don’t like. I didn’t find the librarian software to be that friendly to start off.

Thanks for the help,

CM

I have a bunch of old patches but mine is a Tribute and I don’t have any of the few that you mentioned. Do you have a full list of what you are after? If not, I can post a list of what I have (assuming they are compatible, which I think they are?). If I recall correctly, the original patches were 373 byte in SysEx format.

Patches from the old systems can be found on Knob Tweak in the Patches>Little Phatty section. Other than that, can’t help you. :frowning:

Sorry, I’ve been out of town for a piece…

Thanks for the replies, I’m hoping that my brother still has the old patches, or I’ll as Moog directly.

One question I have though, is this -

Should I be able to “backup” the patches in my phatty using Librarian over USB? When I try to connect to “get” info from the phatty, the progress just spins and nothing happens. When I sent the new patches to the phatty they went super fast.

So does it work over USB or do I need to use old skool MIDI for that?

Thanks,

CM

It should work over USB. I usually plug the LP into the USB on my Mac before starting Librarian, it works better that way.
