digitally controlled cutoff on mf101

hey guys, im looking into getting the following for a new effect:

moogerfooger 101 low pass filter
and a distortion pedal.

the effect i was looking for was a gradual rising constant cutoff effect like in the track below.

skip to 1:30.

the actual synth deadmau5 used here had a gradual rise in cutoff and distortion, which is what i would like to have on bass, however, i do not want the sound to be synthy in any way.

i was wondering if there was a digital alternative to the ep2 expression pedal (like a rising control voltage that could be timed) that could control the level of the sweep of the cutoff. i would like if could change the timing of the sweep through a voltage digitally - for instance, if i set the cutoff freq at 20 and wanted it to sweep gradually to 12k (full sweep) and set the time to be 30seconds then the voltage would go from 0% to 100% with a constant speed (gradual) and create the cutoff sweep (20 to 12k) It would be ideal to have something digital so i could set a timer, have a more clean and precise sweep and not have to multitask (while avoiding having to use anything on a computer or laptop).

something along the lines of a stompbox voltage control much like the expression pedal, esxcept it does the sweep itself and thus i wont have to multitask and the sweep will be far cleaner.

thanks in advance!

I would guess the MP201 could do that. Look it up.

…or a Kenton Pro Solo: ramp LFOs. You may want to check the frequency range, though.

You want a single-shot LFO sent as a control voltage. I don’t know of any digital device that will generate control voltages outside of modular synth stuff. You would almost certainly have to use something digital to set a price time like 30 seconds. You should build a little modular, lots of guitarists have small modulars to use as special sound-processing boxes.
