Definitely not the normal outlet for my music, but I had some music in “B Spears: For the Record” and another piece of music in some of the ads that you might have seen. I didn’t have my Little Phatty when I recorded the tracks, but my Moogerfooger pedals were definitely used quite a bit.

P.S. Did you know that if you type out her name the forum replaces it with Mother Theresa?
Thanks? Like I said, this isn’t the normal outlet for our music. Definitely not bragging either.
Can you point us to specific examples?
The easiest to describe is on the lead-in to the “Womanizer” video shoot. It is an ambient track with some sample-and-hold sounds. The one for the promo has some slowly evolving filter sounds with eBow guitar loops. We did music for other scenes that were edited out of the doc, but maybe they’ll make it to the DVD.
My buddy has a track that leads in to the “Circus” video shoot that sounds kind of like demented circus music.
No man I was totally joking there! Believe me, that is definately something to brag about and I wouldn’t knock another musicians success for anything in the world.
There are so many of us out here doing what we do and we would love to get an opportunity like that.
Actually,
I think I know what you were talking about because my niece listens to that pop stuff all the time on the TV and I remember hearing some of that and going hmmmmm, sounds like some sample and hold there. Wait…is that Britney Spears?
Ill listen for it again when it comes on.
There was another forum member who had some stuff for some Mcdonalds and Chevy commercials.
EDIT- Whoa…whose idea was that? Perhaps we could start a fad…Britney Spears Roll? Instead of Rick Roll? As a replacement of Chuck Norris memes? Just a thought.
That’s hilarious! Whoever did that must have had my kind of sense of humor. (Last night when I went up the stairs/I saw a man who wasn’t there/He wasn’t there again today/I wish that man would go away)
