DFAM Matriarch MIDI clock sync issues

I’ve been running a sequencer from my iPad (sending MIDI clock) to Matriarch and MIDI thru to a drum machine. They’re all syncing just fine.

I’m using Matriarch Arp/Seq Clock Out → DFAM Adv/clock. The DFAM starts out syncing ok and then begins to drift off the beat.

I’ve set the MIDI clock to transmit always. I’ve been trying to adjust the PPQN, to see if that helps. 1 In and 5 Out is the best yet, but it still is only 20-30 seconds at best.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I’m experiencing the same issue. Not only does the clock drift, but the rhythm created by Clock Out > DFAM Adv/Clock is not entirely even - some steps are slightly different than the others. Has anyone else experienced or solved this?

Same exact problem here. My setup is DAW>Matriarch(via MIDI In)>DFAM (via Matriarch’s Clock Out).

The rhythm in the DFAM ends up having an irregular stutter, almost like a gallop and it drifts over time.

Ibcant tell of this is a matriarch or a Dream issue. I have noticed strange rhythm problems with the matriarch when clocking from an outside source over several firmware versions. I use to be able to see the problem in the Arp rate LED (it would sort of flicker) but with this recent problem the LED is just solid green.
