# Devo patch questions

HIya! It’s been a minute (or few years haha)! Anyway, I just saw Devo for the first time in Nashville- Great show! So, I’m on a kick to figure out how Mark makes some of those lovely noises with my current Moog, a Grandmother- I got Smart Patrol down, now I’m working on U Got Me Bugged- Yes, I know it’s a Mini and I can’t get it exact, but I can hopefully get close!

yeah I can get close but no cigar on the U Got Me Bugged- I’ve already moved on to a new Moog endeavor; Kinks songs with Moog vs vocals!

Hey! It’s been a while, haha! Wow, seeing Devo in Nashville must’ve been awesome! Glad you’re diving into recreating those sounds. The Moog Grandmother should definitely get you close, even if it’s not the Mini. For “U Got Me Bugged,” try focusing on getting the filter and resonance settings just right. Use the Grandmother’s LFO to modulate pitch or filter cutoff subtly for that quirky, wobbly vibe. Also, experiment with the arpeggiator to match some of that robotic feel. Have fun dialing in those Devo vibes!
