Detatched Key Weights?

Just got home and got aquainted with my TE #525…it’s freakin amazing…

However, loose and floating around in the box were two weird light grey rubber block things…and the little phatty was rattling from within…I determined that these blocks belonged under the keys as there were some that had them and others that didn’t…after having to open the side panel to fish the others out…I found that 5 total had fallen from the keys…How do I get them back in, they seem to need glue…
Are they to weigh the keys down or what?
Kinda sucks that it’s doing that

i experienced the same problem with the first LP I bought. At first I didn’t know what the blocks were, so I returned it to the store and they swapped it for another one.
Others on this forum have reported the same thing, so you might want to inform Moog and see what the suggest.

Hi-

Recommended for re-glueing weights: Shoe-goo, or any "room temperature Vulcanizing Silicone sealant. (RTV silicone) It is readily availiable. Put down a blanket, put Little Phatty upside down, and then glue the weights back in. Wait 24 hours. (If you can)

Then put that baby through her paces.
And drool, and wait for the update.

Where do they go? Do you have to open up the LP to replace them? What of the warranty?

No, you may have to open the case to get stray weights out, but once the LP is inverted, just put ‘glue;’ on the weights and put them on the keys that have no weights Pretty straight forward.

Just get the weights settled corectly front to back as the other weights are.

That’s what my insticts told me…

God I love that little synth…actually it’s much bigger than I thought, which is not a bad thing.

But, oh the sounds…
