Deselect from multiple sound selection causes crash

  • in librarian view, select all hardware presets in the right pane
  • hold “ctrl” and deselect some
  • program crashes or needs long time

I’m Salvator, the programmer for the Sub37 Editor, and have a couple of questions in order to isolate the problem :

  1. Is the bug still there if only selecting 32 or 64 presets ?
  2. How much times does it hangs when this happen ?
  3. Does that time change depending on the number of selected presets ?
  4. Do it also happen on the center pane ?
  5. Still happen when hardware is disconnected ?

  1. When selecting 32 or 64 presets, There is no problem.
  2. Time is about 6 sec by selecting the whole bank.
  3. Yes selecting all presets it takes about 6 sec. Selecting 32 or 64 presets, time is about 2 sec.
  4. It happens only on the center pane.
  5. Yes when hardware is disconnected the problem is also there.

I found out that it happens when you select All the presets in the center pane.
I copy all the hardware presets to the user bank and select them all.
Then delete them. and then it happens.
trying 5 times…2 times with the problem.

The problem is still here. Also with the new Firmware v1.1.14.

It would be nice, when more Beta Tester, trying this phenomenon.
