Its happening again, it was fine for a long while, now its cutting out again. I used to just give it a good smack and it would be fine, but it doesnt respond anymore, please help!
The daughter board has come loose or the pins to the daughter board are touching the face plate and need a piece of something to insulate them from the the face. Do a search for this, it’s been discussed before and is an easy DIY fix.
A daughterboard? Where?
Not in mine.

Pull the side panels off. (Only need one off, but I can’t remember which side!) It is between the main PCB and the faceplate. It is mounted to a set of pins from the mainboard. The pins are long enough that they can ground out on the face plate. The cure is square of fish paper glued to the faceplate to prevent the shorting.
Your pic is of the wrong side of the PCB! ![]()
I did not had these problems. But I did not spot an extra PCB when I opened my Foogers to built them into the rack using the rack mount kit. But I just did not look from the side. So my fault of not knowing about it.
The daughterboard is under the MN3008 chips when looking at the PCB with the base plate removed. This would be the bottom left corner if your holding the delay with the jacks facing up.
It’s easiest to reach from the right side, IIRC
