Wow, that’s a completely new bug to me. Definately email or call moog support. They will work to recreate the bug and come up with a fix. I would guess the “erase flash” command is a hidden service/manufaturing command. Between the info that was being sent by midi and the knob turns/button pushes while you were menu diving, somehow it was activated.
