'dead' envelope buttons after upgrading LP Tribute

Hi all-
I just updated my Tribute (original HW) to v.1.04, as recommended elsewhere.
At power on the light-up sequence is as usual. But no matter what patch I am using, none
of the Envelope buttons will light -or-function except what parameter was saved in the patch.
In other words, one button of the 8 will light, but none will respond.

I will not try loading any past OS , as I would like to see what you folks have to offer for this problem.

That sounds like you have the EGR MATRIX OFF or AUTO.

Check the GLOBAL menu, don’t know which submenu.

If you have AUTO you can still use the buttons. If you press and hold while turning the know the button should be selected.

have a link to a PDF perhaps ?
