There is a thread over on the MuffWiggler forum where people have tested their interfaces for DC voltage and compiled a list of the ones that work.
I didn’t read it all the way through, but at first glance the list seems to only include MOTU boxes so far, and only the newest ones at that.
For instance, a MOTU 2408 mkII will pass DC, but not enough to get full-scale tracking from an oscillator. The 2408 mkIII works fine though.

I’d say wait it out, unless you can afford a MOTU. I’m willing to bet that sooner or later someone comes out with a much cheaper interface specifically intended for this purpose.
