Found a great deal on the VX-352 but it came without the DB-25 style cable. Is it a standard serial cable or does it have specialized wiring? Would this work:

I see that nobody has replied to you so not sure if you worked out this problem yet (has been a few weeks) but I can check this for you when I get home (I have a VX-351 which I assume uses the same part). It would make sense that Moog would use a commodity cable.
Of bigger concern, however, is the absence (if missing!) of the dongle; This might NOT apply to the RME but on the VX-351 and Voyager, installation requires that a small connector (aka dongle) be placed between the cable and analog circuit board.
The best answer is likely to just call Moog support. They can give you an answer and hopefully a reasonable price in quicker time than it took you to read this email.

If I can chime in, a standard DB-25 cable of the correct gender works fine, it’s wired straight through. Thank goodness for standards.
The buffer board is not required for the Rack Mount Edition.
