I was wondering if anyone had built the standard etherwave from kit?
I want to know if it is possible to add CV outs like the artist series theremin has?
I think it’s so great that you can use that theremin as a controller, but i think the standard theremin is more aestetically pleasing… I would never be able to play on that weird bird house looking artist version…
Because Bob Moog got his start building theremins and learning electronic components that way, he includes with his theremins a set of instructions on how to “Hot Rod” them.
Included on the board are extra power supplies that will accomodate CV chips should you have the desire to add one yourself.

I woud love to do this, but the pitch circuit is unbelievably complicated. Has anyone built it? I can’t see how I could do it without detailed step by step instructions, but even a photograph of the completed thing would help. I’ve found a couple of devices that would convert the CVs to midi. This seems to be the best: Angelo Fraietta’s mini CV controller http://www.smartcontroller.com.au/
