CV/GATE Cables

Hi all,

Please forgive me if this very precise question has already been asked, but I’m quite confused. I currently own a classic vintage Model D #4489 (unmodified) and a motu ultralite mk3. I’m considering buying VOLTA software for CV/GATE control. However, I’m not quite sure what cable(s) to buy ? Do I need one, or two cables ?

Can anyone please point a relevant ebay auction for example ? That would help me a lot. Also, I would like to get the required cables as soon as possible, if anyone knows a fast seller/shipper, I’d greatly appreciate it.

Sorry to insist guys, I’m really confused. Should I get 2 of those to control CV and Gate with a Motu Ultralite/VOLTA ?

Hi, I don’t really know Model Ds, but looking at this:

would suggest the S-trig cable you have found, then a normal 1/4" to 1/4" for the Pitch CV. Your computer interface uses 1/4" sockets?

Also, Minis use S-trig (duh :wink: ) which means the gate is normally high and switches to zero when triggered. Hope Volta can do this.
