Curious...how do you route/mix your Mother32/DFAM tier?

Topic says it all. Talking in a live scenario… If you have a tier of M32s or DFAM, what is your routing? Into a mixer? Interface? Then into what speakers?

No replies? I now have a 3rd Mother on its way, along with the 3 tier and I’m not sure how I’m even going to listen to them. I would love it if Moog made something that took care of this issue, along with providing power (as opposed to the big AC adaptors required for each Mother/DFAM. Possibly an effects loop too.

Hi mattymel,

I believe that the fewer things you put between the M-32s and DFAMs and the PA, the better.

So I use this inexpensive passive 4-channel Mono/Stereo mixer:

Since there are no amps, or any active components, there’s a significantly lower chance for noise, distortion, and coloration. The passive mixer feeds a pair of QSC powered Subs and Speakers.

I also have a pair of IK Multimedia Micro Monitors on either side of my Eurorack for monitoring. (And often, they are my only source of sound for cozier gigs. They’re that loud!)
