Cross-Compatibility between Sub 37 and Sub Phatty?

Hello,

I am wondering if there is any cross-compatibility between the Sub 37 and Sub Phatty editors. Can I load any Sub 37 patches onto a sub Phatty?

I’m 99% positive the answer is no. Even if it could actually load the patch, they wouldn’t sound very similar since the sub37 is much more advanced. It’s possible you could go phatty to 37, but not the other way. But even then, most of the modulation controls on the 37 are bipolar, and aren’t on the sub phatty. So even the same midi position would yield different values.
