Couple of Questions about the Little Phatty 2

Almost decided on buying a Little Phatty 2 to use to play bass on in a live setting. Just have a coupole of questions:
First. Is it possible to hold down a note, press down another note and have to sound change to that note, the release the note you just pressed, and have the sound go back to the note that’s already being held. I was at the music store earlier today and couldn’t get this to happen, it would just stay on the note that is already held down. Not a deal breaker or anything, just wondering if that’s a setting that can be changed or not.

Second question is regarding the sound. I want to get a Little Phatty because I like alot of what is possible in creating good bass sounds, especially for live hip hop. Would it also be possible to create a sound close to this bass sound?

I’d need that kind of sound as a bread and butter sound for more RnB style songs. Just something clean with good bass presence.

What your describing is possible, you just have to change the key order in the settings…

If you playing it set to first note… than if your holding onto one note and trying to play others, they won’t play… because it’s set to hold the first note… but if you set it to “last note” than it will play whatever the last note you touch is. So if you hold one note down, then press another, it will jump to that other note next, since it’s the last note played. It’s really easy to switch the setting in the master button.

And yes, even know that recording was really bad and it was hard to hear the bass… it can make sounds like that. It can do tons of sounds… it’s really boundless… but its super nice for bread and butter hip hop / r&b sounds…
