Controlling Voyager rackmount

Hi

I’m planning on buying a Voyager rackmount and just had a couple of questions about integrating it with my current set-up. Any replies or information appreciated :smiley:

I currently use a Roland RD-700 digital stage piano to control piano samples and synths in Logic - will the RD-700 also be a suitable controller for the rackmount Voyager?

Also the RD-700 connects to my mac via a Motu Fastlane USB Midi interface. To be able to control Logic sounds and also control the Voyager I think all I would need to do is run a midi cable from the OUT of the Fastlane to the IN on the Voyager - is this correct?

Hi, one thing: be sure your controller sends 14-bit pitchbend data, otherwise your bends will be steppy.

A weighted keyboard might not be the best. I find a diving board non weighted keybed better for me on a mono synth.
