Basically all I’m wanting to do is have the tempo on the Time Factor sync with the tempo on the Murf.
Is this possible?

You have to sync the murf to a midi clock from the eventide.
Any way for you to easily explain how to do so? I’m very, very new to anything MIDI. Thanks!
Are you using a daw or anything else that relies somehow on a clock? Or are the eventide and murf the only things in this setup?
Eventide and Murf are the only MIDI elements of my rig.
From the manual it looks like the Eventide will receive real time clock command messages but not send them.
If the Eventide won’t send a clock, then you’re screwed (sorry!) unless you can have a clock sent through the eventide. Is this part of a live rig or in the studio?
Yeah, it sounds like you have two boxes that will receive clock, but neither will transmit. I won’t say you’re totally screwed, but your only option is to introduce a third piece of MIDI gear into the mix that is capable of sending out clock messages. A really cheap drum machine would do the trick. Just research the specs and make sure it transmits MIDI clock messages.
I use either Logic on my Mac, or when I don’t feel like messing with my computer (which is most of the time), I use my MP-201. Not quite a drum machine and definitely not low cost but it gives me the ability to also drive CV pulse LFOs for my Moog gear. I tie the LFO to the internal MP-201 clock and have a cheap-o Boss metronome attached to my kb stand which also accepts Midi so that I can keep my eye on the temp in terms of bpm.

Yeah something like the new akai drum machine that’s in the moog videos or a cheap boss one should do the trick.
From the following link it looks like it can in fact send MIDI. It’s talking about controlling one Eventide pedal with another. Am I missing something?
It says it can send program changes and control changes, but it can only sync to clock.
Ok. According to the newest Time Factor update, it says that it can be used to transmit MIDI clock.

Now if I can just figure out how to do so…
That was a handy find.
Looks like you’re back in business.
By the way, how does the Time Factor sound?
I love the TF. By far the most versatile delay available. I can easily get any sound out of it that I want. The only complaint is that they don’t allow you to name the presets. However, I believe they’re working on it.
I like the idea of continuous updates to a pedal. Do you know how it compares with a line 6 dl4?
I had a few DL4’s for years. Great sounding pedal but by far one of the most unreliable pedals on the market.
Ok. So we’ve figured out that the TF can send clock. How do I get the Murf to receive clock? I’ve got all the settings on the TF correct but the Murf still will not sync.
I don’t own a MIDI Murf (yet!), but make sure they are both set to the same channel. Maybe someone with a murf can chime in here…
