Controlling a korg se 500 with a voyager?

So while my voyager is at moog being repaired i aquired a korg se 500 (and re201  ). The 500 has cv inputs would these work fine with the cv outs on the voyager or is their something to be concerned about. Would test for my self but you know… thanks in advance

Not one of these darn Hz/Volt Korgs, oh wait, it’s a tape delay.

Sure, why not? From a Google pic it looks like you could gate the effect on and/or repeats on with something, you’ll of course need a VX-351 to use the Voyager’s outputs. Touchscreen or KB gate? The speed could be controlled with an LFO or envelope, but from the looks of it it’s -5 to +5V, so you’d need a voltage boost or offset to make use of the full range. Keep in mind the motor lags slightly when the speed is changed (at least it does with Space Echoes) so slow modulation would work the best. KB Pitch CV would work quite well I would say.

One other thing that seems to work is patching a squarewave to the effect on, that way you get a kind-of “tap tempo”.
