connection between moog rogue and roland rs09

Hi there,
I’m trying to get this configuration going on between my rogue (instead of the sh-1) and my rs09.

My problem is that the cv in and out on the rogue are on the same plug (trig in/out and keyboard in/out).
I’ve tried using a stereo jack - 2 mono jack cable connecting the stereo to the rogue trig and alternatively the two mono to the gate out of the rs09, but it doesn’t seem to work.
Any ideas?

There are a number of quirks processing audio with the Rogue.

First identify your mono plug from the insert cable. Assuming the RS09 is Vtrig, you should use the mono plug that carries the ring signal.

Now set everything in the following order. If you don’t it may not work.

  • Set OSC volumes to 0 on the Rogue
  • Plug Mono plug (ring) into RS09
  • Plug stereo into Rogue Trigger jack
  • Put VCA Switch to Bypass
  • Plug Audio in (into the Rogue) last
  • Then only you can bring the VCA switch to keyed

That should work. It does on mine.
