Hope someone can help. I want to connect my Prodigy and Rogue together and play both via one but I’m not 100% sure which cables I will need to get or where exactly to get them from? (that post to the UK)
I have found one site that appears to sell the cables http://www.systemjsynthesizers.co.uk/shop/page/3?shop_param= but I need to know 100% what is the correct ones to buy first. Below are the connections on the rear of the Moogs. Need to also know what cable should go to which output/input?
The Rogue states stereo cables because the keyboard in/out jack will send signals both ways simultaneously, the output on the tip and the input on the ring.
I would advise getting the shortest cables that you can get away with so you don’t lose any voltage in the length of the line.
Keyboard out to Osc IN to control pitch but you still need to open the VCA with a trigger so I think you want to get the voltage to S-trig cable for sure, but to be safe, I will let someone more experienced than myself try to answer the specifics.
In the meantime, download the manuals for both and read those, and if those don’t help you, download the micromoog manual by Tom Rhea and that will tell you everything you need to know about those ins/outs and how to wire the cables, etc.
