I am a proud new owner of a Slim Phatty. I watched the firmware update video and am a bit confused regarding the CV sustain addition. When Amos talks about the Gate In: Sustain Pedal mode, it appears as if he is beginning to play layered notes from only 1 Slim Phatty. Is this the case or is he playing with a poly chain? I have gone through the update and changed this Gate In setting and am not getting any poly capability. Thanks in advance.
Using a sustain pedal in gate in does not give you polyphony. However, you can fake duophony pretty well.
