compatibility between CV and line output audio

I just started experimenting using Reaktor to generate control signals for the LP’s CV inputs, and it seems to work great!

But before I go too far with it, I wanted to make sure that I wasn’t going to burn something out in the LP.. I’m new to all this.

I’m pretty sure you can plug audio into the cv inputs with no problem, right? It’s just a line level output from my motu traveler.

well, i hope i’m not destroying anything because this is too fun.
my LP is now a 3-osc FM synth.

on the other hand, i have soiled the LP’s analog purity. alas

Yes, it’s totally fine if your audio device has DC-coupled outputs. the MOTU devices do, which is why their VOLCA software works for this purpose.
