colour blind

I know it sounds silly but I’m colour blind and can’t tell the difference between a red and a green LED…

It’s a problem when I play live cos I can’t really tell if my Foogers are on or off until I hear the result…

Does anybody have an idea how I could solve this?

Could the LEDs be changed to blue/red for example???

Thanks

Yes you could change the LEDs out for another color.

Depending on where you are situated you could call or write Moog Music…or find a Local Moog Service point…

Moog Music, the company that keeps on caring.

Maybe this is an oversimplification (and will void your warranty) but would it be possible to just clip the leg of the red LED?

Is there 3 LED’s, or is it one RGB LED? You could give it a different voltage input to change the color if it is and RGB LED.

<< It’s a RG LED, so the bypass state is either red (off) or green (on); no colour mixing possible (in a simple way) by changing voltage or PWM.

I’m sure Moog will sort him out, maybe let us know how it goes though. Custom is always cool :sunglasses: eh Voltor?

That is interesting, thanks for the info.

Come to think of it, LED’s that match my LP would look really cool on my 'Foogers. May I suggest to the OP blue and amber? These colors could easily be done using a 5mm RGB LED, and would be red-green color blind-friendly.
