I was just noticing how much treble is added when you set the mix to 50% on the Cluster Flux on a chorus setting. Is this something specific to the Cluster Flux, or is a natural side effect of chorus itself? I love using it to widen the stereo image, but am having some difficulties using fuzz in front of it.
It’s the nature of your gain staging and other settings. I just tried this out running the ClusterFlux at 50% through my Mesa amp via the ‘insert’ jacks. At first it was pretty treble-y though I was able to tame it quickly with just a few adjustments.

Hmm… I wouldn’t really be able to change anything other settings on the fly whenever I kick on the Cluster Flux. I wonder if it has anything to do with the dip switches inside. I just realized I never tried messing with those. I’ll see if that does anything. Maybe it’s a phase thing.
I am able to adjust the ClusterFlux so that the treble is pretty much the same bypassed as when it’s kicked into play. Unless you are using some wildly crazy settings, you should be able to do this too.
