Hi,
in some Moog modular circuits a Diode called “CL-1” occurs, e. g. in the Input Bias adjustment of the 902. Does anybody have some information / specs / data sheets of this component?
Thanks

Appears to be a generic small signal diode IE 1N4148.
Probably marked CL-1 for Clamping Level 1 ?
Never did find the manufacturer or any reference or spec/data sheet on the original Moog used CL-1. I think it is rated at 1A 600V. Moog used these on both modulars and the original Minimoog. They were large and bullet shaped.
A few pics of the CL-1:

They were used in a few places on the early Minimoogs. Seen here on the EG board.

The official Moog replacements on the later Minimoogs varied with the application. There were four used on the Mini rectifier board and later replaced with 1N4004. The ones used on the EG board were also replaced with 1N4004. The two CL-1’s used on the VCA were listed as CL-1 or 1N458A.
The early modular schematics show the CL-1 used on the 911A Dual Trigger Delay. And was later replaced with 1N4148.
The Don Martin clones used a similar looking diode, large bullet shaped for the CL-1. From photos looks like it reads WEP1083. That one is listed on NTE data sheet as a substitute for: “1N4001 / 1N4004 Si Diode, 600V 1A - NTE116”.
Some pics of the Don Martin CL-1.

Ah, ok, that helps. Thank you all for the replies.
Specs and data.
