Chorus Pedal

Im looking for a new chorus pedal to complete my voyager/mf setup. Ive heard the redwhich chorus is awesome. Anyone have any recommendations?

I’ve got something that is sort of unique which is the Effectrode VibraChorus. It’s all tube based and only has rate & depth (and is mono) but the tone is absolutely out of this world.

It’s a very unmoog-ey product (no CVs and an obvious lack of knobs and options) but if you get the chance you ought to check it out. It’s really nice with my Bass anyway. If I were looking for something general purpose, there would be a long list and stereo would be high on the list (at least I thought it was for me until I got my hands on this).

I have NOT used one, but have been wanting one for a while. I can not comment on the sound other than what you can hear in the samples. CV ins and outs and analog to go along with the Foogers and voyager.

Sir Nose - you were reading my mind!
I almost purchased when it was v1 a few years back but i got sidetracked with other G.A.S. However, I have been contemplating one of these v2 models for a few weeks now and it’s time to buy it. This is one helluva chorus unit.

I am using the Elkorus for some time now. Its the original version without the CVs. It is great to get the real analog string ensemble sound out of every basic digital synth. I bought it, because the ELKA Rhapsody I own is a bit bulky when I have to take it to a gig. I am not using it on mono synths yet, but this is just because I gt this for the string keyboard sound, and not for experimental tests.

Till - your site is what tipped me off to this awesome chorus. i too will most likely use this on my polysynths for that vintage string machine sound. i might even use it on guitar, too!

Nice to here a positive user experience. I’d like to use and abuse it sonically anyway I can, but analog strings make my brain relax and that’s enough to justify the purchase. I got to move it up the list, not sure if it will be available if I wait too long.

Till- Great site. It had the best info on the web in regards to the Elka Solist 505. Very helpful when I found one up the road a bit for a steal.
