Hi.
How do you do it from logic???
The knob you use when internal LFO speed is on goes dead (as im sure most of you are aware!)
I need to use that phat moog filter instead of auto filter or any plug in. There must be a way?
Thanks

I am assuming you’re talking about setting the LFO to sync to MIDI clock…
In this case, when you write “change the LFO speed” are you wanting the LFO to speed up/slow down smoothly so that it is no longer in sync with the MIDI clock, or are you wanting to change the MIDI clock divisions of the LFO via MIDI?
In any case, the CC# for LFO rate is CC#3. If the LP LFO is NOT set to MIDI sync, then sending it MIDI CC#3 will change the LFO rate.
If the LFO is set to MIDI Sync, I’m not sure what CC3 will do. Ideally it should change the LFO MIDI clock divisions; if it doesn’t, I’ll fix it at some point.

Hi Amos.
Thanks for the reply. Sorry for not being very clear.
I want it to stay synced to the clock but want to be able to automate the rate of the LFO (1/32 1/16 1/8 ETC…)
Is it possible to do this with the hardware or do I need to somehow sent it automated messages from logic?
If it’s not possible from the phatty, have you thought of implementing an update where you can change the LFO rate from the modulation section of the phatty while keeping it synced to the external midi clock. This would be a very cool feature.
Would you mind explaining how to do this (from Logic ideally if you know) as im sure many people would like to know.
Thanks

try sending it MIDI CC#3; see if anything happens.
If not, then that is something for the next OS update - then it will do exactly what you are asking.
Cheers,
Amos
