Its my understanding that Novamusik special ordered them, Moog did the color swap themselves before they left the factory. I’ve heard that anyone can order a special color, just as long as you order a minimum amount (like more than 15 or something).

I can live without the backlight, but if I were given a choice I wouldn’t mind it in a deep, ruby red. There are too many blue lights these days…
Remember to say you want it in the exact specifications as Moog Music so at least you’ll have a chance at swapping it into place! I would also wait until your warranty expires
