Hey all - I have a performer, always been very happy with it. But, I was thinking it would be cool to get the backlight thing happening. I like the jade one. Anyway, can you turn off the backlight if you want to? I’ve heard it can be noisey. Also, does moog even do these kinds of upgrades? I thought at one time they were offering this. It would be nice, b/c I haven’t done any of the hardware upgrades, and I could send it in, get that done, and also get the extended memory and aftertouch… If you know, let me know!! Thanks!
I think you can upgrade. I had my Signature upgraded with the blue backlights and it’s great.
The newest version of the backlights is quieter than the original too, and the original isn’t bad unless you crank it really bright.
You can turn down the backlight so it’s effectively off.
Get the aftertouch upgrade too.
