I am wondering if my sub37 can be used as a midi to cv converter at All?

this would eliminate me spending £100 on a dedicated device ?

I don’t think so, because the Sub 37 only has CV inputs as far as I know.

You can not use the sub37 as a MIDI to CV converter, but you can use it as a CV to MIDI converter.

  • Map Pitch CV in to for instance FiltRes.*
  • MIDI filter: Panel = ON
  • Knob NRPN/CC = CC
  • MIDI output CC format: 7bit
  • connect your CV source to PITCH CV IN, MIDI controller 21 will be sent out.


    *for some reason the DEFAULT setting of the CV MAP parameter will not sent out any MIDI.
