Can I tune the Taurus III down 1/2 step?

Newby here. I had a Taurus 1 about 20 years ago, but was dumb enough to let it go. I’ll be purchasing the Taurus III soon and I’m super stoked just thinking about the possibilities this will open up with my rock band. However, my guitarist is pushing to have everyone tune down 1/2 step. Not a problem on my bass guitar, but what about the Taurus? I know I could be a real musician and transpose live, but I’m thinking it might be difficult for me to think, say, A with my upper body and Ab with my feet at the same time… at least at first. So, it’s probably going to come down to me saying “no” to my guitarist (at least for a while) or tuning down the Taurus.

Any advice?

Yes, from page 21 in the manual under “transpose mode”. You can transpose in half steps down an entire octave.
