I recently bought an anniversary edition Voyager, which arrived yesterday…
I haven’t seen one like it.
It says anniversary edition below the menu screen (& on the manuals)
It generally is the same lay-out/look of the other AE
however:
On the wooden cabinet where the 50 year disc should be, there is nothing but an indentation…
Also on the wood just above the first 1/2 octave is Bob Moog’s signature in white.
This doesnt seem to look like a signature edition, not like any pics I can find anyway.
Anyone seen the like?

Where are you from? I would guess the UK.. I say this as my AE is the same, nothing in the indentation. I figured that all UK AE’s do not ship with this badge, presumably because it has the word ‘Moog’ on it.
I asked Turnkey about this and they said they have Anniversary stickers that they normally put in this indent. I got one and stuck it in. The sticker is pretty nice and looks perfectly natural to the passive observer.. Obviously I would love an original disc whatever they look like.. Maybe someone could post a close up of the AE disc?
I live in the Uk and was aware of the Moog legal problems resulting in Moog not being able to use the name on UK sold products. I had already purchased a Theremin from Turnkey in the Uk and was a little sad that it had to have all Moog references removed.
When it cam time for me to purchase my Voyager I knew I had to have the Moog branding so decided to get one shipped from M.E.S.I in Paris.
“Exclusivity that’s easily bought by hacking the pretty badge off a European market model!”
Its not as simple as that. The UK versions have every trace of the company Moog removed, often replaced with the company name “Big Briar”. Even the PCBs make no reference to the company Moog..
Anyone know the relevance of the name “Big Briar” btw?
I’ve got a UK signed AE and wrote to both Moog and Turnkey for badges and got one from both! The hard decision was then which badge to use - in the end it just had to be the Moog one, but I also kept the Turnkey one tucked in the back of the manual.
