How often will I need to calibrate my LP? And, how DO I calibrate it? Is it straight forward or do I need knowledge of analog circuits etc. not to trash my synth?

Not often, once every couple of years probably. It’s easy to do and you don’t have to know anything about analog circuits.
You can calibrate your Little Phatty in the menu, for exact details please read the manual (page 37 and up).
