The categories in the preset browser panel don’t match the categories available in the librarian.
For example, I have a ‘percussion’ category I use in my preset list in the central panel of the librarian that doesn’t appear in the preset browser.
I’ve attached screenshots, showing there’s a lot more available in the librarian.
Also, I’ve no idea why the presets folder panel has a red background, not a black, as seen on the first image. I don’t think this has happened before. Moving through each of the pages doesn’t change it back to black.
This was a bug in the OSX installer. It will be fixed in the next version… but for now, you can browse to the folder Application Support/Moog Music Inc/Sub 37 and delete the file “PresetCategories.xml” . It will be re-created with the correct categories, the next time you launch the editor.
(easy way to get to the folder is to open the app, go to Librarian, right-click on a preset or folder in the Preset Library and choose “reveal in finder” . Then go “up” a folder or two and you should see the Sub 37 folder containing PresetCategories.xml.)
