Not sure if there will be an official posting in the forum for this so I want to try and prompt people to dig in.
I just read that not only will Moog donate 1/2 of the proceeds of Tee shirt sales to The Bob Moog foundation (purchased on his birthday the 23rd or Wednesday), but the shirts are made, printed, etc. right in Asheville. To me that is awesome. http://www.moogmusic.com/products/Clothing
I’ve been in town a few times and at both ‘factory’ locations but my last trip to Moogfest (2 yrs ago) lead me on a walk from venue to venue and right past some really great brewery, art, food joints, and tee shirt stores (boom)… there it is.
Now we know why Amos wanted that Prodigy logo. I’ll be scooping up a model 15 shirt and either a Prodigy or the Source (just because it’s such a unique instrument). Who is with me?
Special offer; any of the UK crowd that are interested; pickup a shirt on the 23rd and ship it to New Jersey and I’ll gift ship it the rest of the way to you (that’s right, I will pickup the UK shipping; it’s just the kind of guy I am); I’ll even label the box “Birthday present” so you don’t get nabbed on the additional 17.5% (or is it 18% now?) I haven’t been to London in over a year otherwise, I’d bring a whole suitcase over.
Contact me via PM to arrange.
