Sequencer modulation has mismatched bipolar values (-128, +127)
Sequencer mod destination doesn’t seem to work for pitch up / down.
Editor LED doesn’t reflect Mod on/off messages
Mod Amt/Dest/Etc is redundant in the Sequencer view
Requests
Organize mod destination into sub-categories for easy access
Variance would be nice to have on front interface (replace redundant mod control?)
Maybe have wave shapes in PRM SRC in LFO 1/2 so changing MOD SOURCE always corresponds to knob (and you wouldn’t have to change MOD SOURCE to FEG/PRM for PRM SRC to work).
(Yeah, I’m butting in again, just because I’m online and have nothing better to do. Sorry.)
Gil, in point #4, I think Jay means that the Sequence Mod Dest and Amount are shown in two places:
Editor page, lower panel, left side, under Arp/Sequencer,
on the Sequence page, as you said.
(On the other hand, this points out a discrepancy:
on the Sequencer page, the Mod Amt control is only in percent; so set it to 50%
over on the Editor page, the knob is set to 50% but the high-resolution value is 8186 (or something else),
but half of the max of 16383 is 8191, not the other value. Once in awhile I can get it to say 8192 by adjusting the percent number in the Seq panel, but most of the time “50%” is not 8191. If it matters.)
Sorry, I was confused. It functions differently than another software sequencer I have, but that one has a dedicated pitch lane with specific bend curves, rather than modulating an existing parameter - -my bad
A good example is to load the first hardware preset “Rythmic Fifth Filtration”. On the hardware, the LED lights cycle through the filter poles as it modulates, but the software doesn’t reflect this. Same with ON/OFF states of Oscillators when using mod to turn them ON/OFF.
Thanks Mikeh, that’s what i mean!
Hope that makes sense / is helpful.. Lemme know if you need elaboration.
