The current US issue of Sound On Sound (the cover has an M-Audio Project Mix Interface) has a short featurette of Digicon '83, where Bob Moog demonstrated the then-new MIDI technology. The single accompanying picture shows Bob on one knee adjusting what appears to be a modular synth beside a theremin.
