Curious if the backlight of the voyager can be altered to a different color, say red. Wasn’t sure if there were blue leds in the board, or if the faceplate was printed blue. Anyone ever took a shot at this, or been inside a blue edition to see what was up? Thanks, adam
Nick P. had his Model D outfitted with the Voyager EB mod wheels. I can’t remember the tech’s name that did it for him, but he could probably do the mod for you so I’d send him a PM.
Thanks for the reply. I was planning on doing the mod myself. Changed countless leds out, but you never know how the board is set up (at least I don’t!) Haven’t purchased a voyager yet, was just trying to work out my choice of wood color based on the backlight color.
Anyone have a blue backlight that can tell if the face is actually colored? Or better yet opened one up and know whats going on?
