I apoligize to Moog for getting upset about my “slow Voyager” and “Jalopy” as I posted in Beware the Update! entry. After many hours of working on the problem I discovered the the update file was being corrupted by my Digidesign MIDI I/O. Although the file started and ended correctly after leaving the i/o the file contained 292 extra bits- I believe this is due to MIDI Time Stamping. I rerouted the update thru my Yamaha O2R96 to the Voyager and all went well! There is no way that I know of to turn off time stamping as of yet. Also, data transfer rate did not appear to be an issue using the Sysex Librarian utility.
