Installing the newest beta firmware left my unit with all lights on and a blank screen, restarting doesn’t change it. I know it’s a beta and things happen, but can someone please tell me how to fix this? Thank you.
Did you try redoing the firmware update procedure again from scratch?
Start up in bootloader mode (fine tune at 0, filter cutoff at 0, hold pitch wheel all the way up, turn unit on). That should delete the old firmware and allow you to load another.
Are you doing sysex update or using the automatic updater?
Remember you can always use sysex to reload the last official firmware release if the beta is having issues.
Knobs at 0 means 7 o’clock,
if you do this - remember to let go of the pitch wheel once it starts:

I got it working with the Windows installer instead of the Mac, but it erased all my settings, and sounds aren’t saving, sounds are strangely breaking up for no reason, sound from MIDI is delayed. This was a complete disaster, anyone know the safest way to roll back to stable 1.1 please?
You might try the newest version that was sent out to beta testers.
Otherwise do a standard sysex install of 1.1. Have you tried doing that yet?
can’t take the chance again, gotta finish this track. okay so u mean sysex librarian and press play for all four of the 1.1s? so I can just copy over the beta no problem?
Shouldn’t be a problem.
The first sysex file (the tiny one) erases the installed firmware anyway.
