I play bass piano and want a bass synth to mix in synth bass with my bass piano sound. The piano would be midi and would control the bass synth and they would have two separate dedicated speakers — one for the piano and one for the bass synth.
What would you guys say is the best analogue bass synth (RACK MODEL) that has built in memory for preset patches? I was looking at the minitaur but it looks like you cant access any pre set sounds without using a computer and i don’t want to have to do that becasue I am playing live and need to be able to shirt around on the fly.
I also meant to say that I want something that is built well – good quality.
Thank you, not a perfect approach to it but good enough for my purposes. Not to bag on Moog but the minitaur without dedicated switches for presets like they have on the sub 37 is just stupid really. Someone at the top thinking of how to sell more and different kinds of units rather than putting the customer first-- not unique to Moog, its everywhere.
You should study Marketing 101. There are customers who want low cost, and there are customers who want high functionality. Can’t please both all the time.
