anyone know what is actually different about the 2 designs?
The filters of the Bass MuRF are set to lower frequencies so that it is more suitable for bass and the lowest filter (110Hz) is a lowpass filter instead of a bandpass filter so it doesn’t cut off the low frequencies.. The original MuRF filter’s are all bandpass filters set to frequencies more tailored for guitar, keys, etc. Simple as that.
