Sorry for being off topic, just wondering if anyone knew anything about the String Ensemble voices. The Horns setting is not working. It is the same voice as the trumpet (which works) but an octave apart, and may even be the same sound source. Also anyone know of a repairman in the SF Bay Area?
After having had a look at the schematics, it is most probably a case of some divider chips gone bad, yet again. I had a MG-1 which suffered from those, back in the day.
Sorry I can’t be of much help. The only tech that comes to mind in California is our own Kevin Lightner, but he’s still about 400 miles away from the San Francisco Bay area…
I agree that it might be a divider, but it could be other things also such as a switch, connector, etc.
