Hi folks,
I was just watching a video where a guy uses audio as a control voltage. In particular, he was using Volume Envelopes from an ableton clip which he was then sending to the CV ins of a slim phatty. Is there any danger of messing up your gear by doing this? I read somewhere that audio maxes out at +5volts, so it seems that there shouldn’t be any problem. Just thought I’d check in with the good people in these forums before I go ahead and try it myself. . .
