How do you record only the audio from animoog when you have a loop playing in the background? Pressing record deletes the loop and overdub obviously combines both.

This is the main drawback of animoog right now. Compared to the proper loop based recording options like thumbjam or loopyhd it fails miserably. On top of that since it doesn’t utilize the Sonoma wire works audio copy paste it can only handle 20 seconds of audio. Ugh. I really hope they fix this ASAP.
Yes, I’d also like to see Animoog and Filtatron make use of Sonoma AudioCopy/Paste. I hope Moog seriously considers adding this, as it’s one of the few features the best-of-the-best iOS music apps have in common.
