Arpeggiator presets, octaves

Hello. It seems like some of the preset sounds run on two octaves, even though the arpeggiator is set for 1 octave.
For example preset 12 “bass man” does two octaves when you press one note.
And so does preset 10 “upfront bass.” There are others that do this too, as far as I can tell.
Any comments on this? I went into the advanced arpreggiator settings to check and its set for 1 octave.
Most presets do stay on one octave. Thanks

Don’t have a Phatty in front of me at the moment but I believe that if it says “1” it means that it moves from the base range up to the next octave, which you might be counting as 2.

If you set it to 0, it just stays on the notes being played.

Like wise (if I remember correctly), “-1” will play the held or latched notes and one octave down (aka 2 octaves)

Make sense?

Thanks for the reply. I didnt think it could be set to zero. Also probably 3/4 of them stay on one octave when the machine is set to 1.
Im used to a Korg and setting the Korg at 1 means to stay on one octave. Thanks!

Thanks! I tried that, and it worked. Though, still, after I change from 1 octave to 0 octave then go back to the presets it changes back to 1 octave again. How do you globally set the setting and make it stay?
Thank you very much for your help. Todd

Hello. I guess I should state my question in a different way.
On the LP stage II with the newest OS, how do you save arpeggiator settings globally, i.e., so every preset has the same arpeggiator setting.
If anyone can tell me I would really appreciate it. Thanks a lot!

It saves the setting for each preset, rather than one global setting. This way you can customize each patch with its own setting.

… so the only option is to get your hands on an editor/librarian, else it’s going to be painful run talking through all of the presets to set them to your liking.

OK thanks very much for the help!
