Arpeggiator Lfo bpm???(why isnt it there).

So on the factory presets when a patch has the arp synced to the lfo it shows the BPM. I recently copied the calibration patch to all the memory slots to fill my LP with all custom presets. However when I set the Arp to sync to LFO it does not show the BPM. This is very frustrating because I set the tempo to match the projects in my computer and sync it live without midi so I must be able to match BPM’s. If someone could tell me how to get my LP to display the BPM on my own patches that would be fantastic. Thanks.

I have read the addendum, and played around, and still can’t figure that out. Amos! Somebody! Help us! :open_mouth:

I’m pretty sure that when the arp is synced to LFO is exactly when it doesn’t display the arp BPM. If you want to see the BPM, set the arp sync to INT[ernal]. That should fix it.

Note however that there is more error in this BPM than we would like… it’s not precisely what it says at some tempos (tempi?) due to the resolution of the internal counter algorithm or some such foolery. This has literally been fixed today by our new super-awesome firmware programmer, and so internal BPM is going to be much much more solid in OS 2.1 which is coming kind of soonish (the period of time I like to call “the indefinite near future”).

Cheers,

Amos

Amos, that’s AWESOME! YAY! New OS goodness! Will lowercase letters be supported?

Ahh my bad thanks so much. I love the LP OS as is but I guess some more goodies would be a nice christmas present, although I presume this OS is more of a tune up than a feature adder.

It’ll be a surprise, that’s for sure.
